When you have paid your entry fee, you will be told if you have answered the question correctly. If you have, your name will be entered in the draw with all of the other correct entries. If you have not answered correctly, you will not be entered into the draw.
All Entrants will also receive an email confirming whether your answer is right or wrong and confirming if you have been entered into the draw.
However, an entry list is published and therefore all entrants should check this to ensure they have been entered into the draw for the competition they have entered.
We will notify the winner via email within 7 days of the closing date of the competition. If you change any of your contact details prior to the closing date, you must inform us. We will try to contact you using the information you have supplied us with. If we cannot reach you within 14 days of the closing date we reserve the right to choose another winner and you will lose your right to claim the prize.
The opening and closing date of the competitions are stated on the website. If we have to change either of these dates for any reason, we will update the website accordingly. We will only change the dates if we have to for reasons outside of our control.

We do not except entries from anyone outside of these areas as the laws for running competitions vary. This competition has been organised to comply with the laws of England, and Wales.

If you get the question wrong, you will not be entered into the draw so you will not have the chance to win the prize. You will not be entitled to a refund of your entry fees. If you want to, you can try again.
You can enter the competition as many times as you wish up to any limit we specify. Your entries may be restricted if we reach the maximum number of entries, a spending limit cap or have put on a limit of maximum number of entries per User.
Whilst this isn’t gambling, we still urge you to keep this fun and not spend more than you can afford.
Everyone who gets the answer to the question correct will be entered into a draw. The winner will then be chosen at random from all the correct entries.
The maximum number of entries is stated on each competition so your chances of winning will vary from competition to competition. As an example, if entries are capped at a maximum of 3000, this means that if you purchase 1 entry and get the answer correct, your chances of winning will be no worse than 1 in 3,000.
You can increase your chances of winning by purchasing more entries. For example, if you purchase 10 entries in the example above and you get the answer correct, your chances of winning will be no worse than 1 in 300.
We say “no worse than” because not all tickets may be sold. If in the above example only 2,000 tickets were sold by the time the competition closes, this will increase your odds of winning.

No. The pledge is funded by us and is not an additional charge on top of your entry, unless we clearly state otherwise.
Only paid competition entries count. Free entries (where offered) and anything that is not a paid entry purchase do not form part of the pledge calculation.

Yes. At checkout you can choose one charity from the list of available charities. Your choice determines which charity your pledge amount will support.
We show a running total of pledged donations on the competition details screen. This total reflects cumulative pledge amounts from paid entries and is updated periodically.
We use Work for Good to manage and administer our charitable giving, and we will display our donation activity on the Work for Good dashboard (which may include totals pledged and/or donated and the charities supported).
Donations are made after entry payments have been received and cleared. We aim to transfer funds within 60 days of the end of the month in which the paid entry purchase was made, or in line with Work for Good’s processing and payment schedule.
If a paid entry purchase is refunded, cancelled, reversed, or subject to a chargeback, the associated pledge amount may be reduced or removed to reflect the amount actually received and retained.
Yes. We may add or remove charities from time to time. If a charity becomes unavailable after you’ve selected it, we may (acting reasonably) apply the pledge to an alternative charity from the available list or otherwise manage it via Work for Good.
We may update our pledge terms from time to time, but any changes will be reflected in our Terms & Conditions and (where relevant) shown clearly at checkout.

We track all pledged donations for each individual charity throughout the month. To help minimize transaction fees and maximize the amount that reaches them, we process the actual donations at the end of the first month in which the total pledged amount for that specific charity exceeds £10.
Yes, standard processing fees apply per individual charity donation. Work for Good takes a 5% platform fee for administering the donations. Additionally, Stripe applies a transaction fee per charity payout for processing credit and debit card payments in the UK (currently 1.9% + 20p).
